Working with a Travel Curator is a different experience than booking online or choosing a pre-packaged itinerary. Every journey I create begins with a conversation and is thoughtfully designed around you – your interests, your travel style, your pace, and what makes your travel meaningful.

Many travel companies offer fixed itineraries that are purchased largely as designed. While those experiences can be wonderful, my approach is different. As your Travel Curator, I design international journeys from the ground up – shaped around your interests, priorities, and the way you want to experience a destination.

My role is to listen, guide, and curate every detail so you can experience a destination with confidence, curiosity, and ease. Whether you’re celebrating a milestone, planning a family adventure, or seeking a deeper cultural connection, your journey will be uniquely your own and you are fully supported every step of the way.

I don’t believe exceptional travel comes from simply checking destinations off a list. It comes from meaningful experiences, thoughtful details, trusted local connections, and a deeper understanding of what makes a place special. Because no two travelers are alike, no two journeys should be either.

Every journey begins with a conversation. We’ll talk about where you’d like to go, what inspires you, how you like to travel, and what you hope to experience. Some clients come with a destination already in mind, while others are looking for inspiration.

This conversation allows me to understand your vision and begin shaping a journey that reflects your interests, priorities, and travel style. Planning a meaningful journey is a collaborative process. The best experiences begin with trust, communication, and a shared vision.

When we are ready to move forward together, I’ll begin researching, coordinating, and designing your personalized itinerary.

This includes thoughtfully selected accommodations, transportation, trusted local guides, unique cultural experiences, dining recommendations, and the many details that bring your journey together. I draw on destination knowledge, trusted relationships, and carefully selected partners and networks world-wide to create experiences that are authentic and uniquely yours.

You’ll receive your personalized itinerary and overall trip investment for review. We’ll collaborate, refine the details, and make any adjustments needed until everything feels just right.

Once your itinerary is finalized and you’re ready to move forward, a 50% deposit secures your reservations.

Before your journey is confirmed, you’ll complete your Traveler Profile & Agreement Form. This allows me to gather important details, preferences, and travel information so I can continue tailoring your experience and ensure everything is accurately prepared for your journey.

The remaining balance is typically due 90 days before departure, although payment schedules may vary depending on our travel partners and suppliers. If your departure date is within 90 days, full payment may be required at the time of confirmation.

From this point forward, I’ll continue coordinating the many moving pieces behind the scenes – from supplier communication and reservations to final details – so your journey comes together seamlessly.

Your relationship with Sara Baird Travel doesn’t end when your itinerary is complete.

Before you depart, you’ll receive a beautifully organized digital itinerary with all confirmations, destination information, maps, recommendations, and everything you’ll need along the way. All of this information is easy to access via an online APP – it’s flawless with everything at your fingertips. I’ll also provide guidance on travel protection options and remain available should questions arise before or during your travels.

You’re never traveling alone! I remain your point of contact and work closely with trusted local partners and suppliers should unexpected situations arise. Having someone who knows your journey, understands your preferences, and can help navigate the unexpected is one of the greatest benefits of traveling with a dedicated Travel Curator.

Rather than presenting a collection of individual bookings, I present your journey as one thoughtfully curated travel experience.

Your investment reflects not only the travel components themselves, but also the research, expertise, destination knowledge, trusted relationships, careful coordination, and ongoing support required to create a seamless international journey.

You’ll always receive a clear outline of what’s included, along with transparency regarding your overall trip investment.
